This is a family owned dental practice performing quality general dentistry as well as specializing in prosthodontics. History
Established in 1977, this practice has been continuously serving the people of Marin and surrounding counties with restorative and family dental services since its inception. The practice consists of father and son dentists bringing modern techniques and experience to your dental care. They collaborate on procedures and treatment plans providing the patient with two doctors opinions at no extra charge. Dr. Grey Kantor is currently a faculty member at his alma mater UOP Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he teaches integrated reconstructive dental sciences.
Meet the Business Owner
Ezra H. Kantor, D.D.S.
Dr. Ezra H. Kantor graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1972, achieving membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national honor society for dentistry. The following year he completed a general practice residency at The Bronx Lebanon Hospital. After working for a year as an associate in private practice, Dr. Kantor entered into a residency program for prosthodontia, the specialty for esthetic and restorative dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. At the end of his two year program, he married Jill and relocated to California.
Dr. Kantor obtained a position as Associate Professor of Prosthodontia at the University of the Pacific and began a private practice in San Rafael, California. He specializes in implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, and tooth colored restorations. He has been restoring implants for more than 25 years of the 42 he has practiced and has been placing his own for more than 20 years.
He became a dentist because he enjoys working with his hands. He paints, draws, sculpts and makes models. Ship models have recently been of particular interest.
He also likes to read history. He is especially interested in the American Civil War period.
He and his wife, Jill live in Petaluma, California where they play Bridge and dance West Coast Swing. He and Jill have three grown children. His son Grey, who is also a member of the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon, is an associate at the practice as seen below.

Grey F. Kantor, D.D.S.
Dr. Grey Kantor went to college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He found that his engineering background worked well with dental aesthetics and design giving him an advanced understanding of mechanical forces applied to teeth, the TMJ, and the comfort in dental restorations.
Dr. Grey Kantor graduated from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry with high honors achieving the operative dentistry award and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society just like his father. Since then he was an instructor at his alma mater where he taught integrated reconstructive dental sciences, thereby helping students with crowns, fillings, and preferred methods of painless anesthesia.
Dr. Grey loves the outdoors and especially loves to surf. He also enjoys snowboarding, fly-fishing, rock climbing, and plays in the Novato Volleyball League. Dr. Grey competed on the TV show American Ninja Warrior season 8 and is looking forward to competing on season 9.
Last March, Dr. Grey and his wife Camille had a beautiful baby boy named Isaac. Camille is a scientist, presently doing research in molecular genetics.
