Philosophy~
I have had the pleasure of working largely with children throughout my lifetime as a teacher in Child Education (K-12), Childcare (over 18 years), and also through the healthcare industry. These experiences have given me the opportunity to see that working with children is a very rewarding career. Children need good influences, direction, and guidance early on in life in order for them to make good decisions later in life- they also must enjoy themselves. An atmosphere where they can freely and readily learn to interact with others can lead to a better transition into K-12 educational programs and reduce bullying.
No two children are alike and each must be given the opportunity and the space to see things in their own way; as each child is different in their abilities and cognition...there is no room for cookie cutter ideology here.
Working with children keeps me young at heart and open to new life experiences- The best part of this career, one that always puts a really huge smile on my face, is getting to hear their laughter as they play.
