ACAW connects leading NY & Asia-based art institutions to present cutting-edge exhibitions, innovative projects & provocative dialogues ASIA CONTEMPORARY ART WEEK (ACAW) is a collaborative curatorial and educational platform initiated in 2001 by Asia Contemporary Art Consortium (ACAC), a group of museum directors, curators, artists and collectors to heighten the awareness and appreciation of contemporary art, as well as contemporary art discourses and practices from Asia in the United States. Through the ACAW program and other initiatives, ACAC highlights a wide spectrum of select Asia-specific exhibitions, receptions, lectures, performances, and more throughout New York CIty and across cities in Asia. ACAW is a non-profit organization, fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts.
