William-Emma Charters is the only charter boat leaving from Patchogue, NY. We offer 6 person fishing trips and cruises. About The Boat:Come join us on the “William Emma” for a day of fishing or cruising on the south shore of Long Island. She is a 2007 38’ Osmond Beal, built in Maine and powered by a John Deere diesel. Her 14’10” beam offers plenty of deck room for fishermen, crew, and accommodations. We have 2 captains available, both with 100 ton masters licenses and combined fishing experience of 47 years here on the south shore. We are fully licensed and insured.
Location:The boat is docked at South Shore Boat Yard of Patchogue (1/2 mile from Patchogue Village). You will be leaving from the Patchogue River, heading south and west towards Fire Island Inlet. Your captain will be looking for birds along the way, stopping to cast into some of the local action, most likely blues, striped bass, and weakfish. Next stop will be Fire Island Inlet to fish for some fluke.
What to Bring On Your Fishing Trip:
•Summer – light rubber boots, sneakers, deck shoes, rain gear top and sweatshirt
•Fall or Spring – Water proof boots and full rain gear
•Clothing – Sweatshirts, sunglasses, and a hat
•Food and Drinks- Please bring your own; we will have coolers to keep everything cold.
•Alcohol- Beer is ok, hard liquor is prohibited. Your captain has the right to terminate the trip in the event of intoxication
•Illegal Drugs- The Coast Guard strictly prohibits the possession of illegal drugs
•Tackle- We provide bait and tackle, but feel free to bring some of your personal gear
Evening Cruises for 1-6 Passengers
Join us for an evening boat ride to watch the sunset, enjoy some salt air and unwind. Your captain will give you a choice of heading west passing by some of the more popular Fire Island beaches or heading east into Bellport bay where it is very quiet and bordered by the National Seashore barrier beach.
What to Bring On Your Trip:
•Clothing- Dress for the forecast on the day of your trip. It’s always good to bring a sweatshirt for the ride in if it is an evening trip.
•Food and Drink- Bring your own food and drinks, we will have coolers ready to keep things chilled
•Alcohol- Beer and wine is ok, no hard liquor is allowed. Your captain has the right to terminate the trip in the event of intoxication.
•Illegal Drugs- The Coast Guard strictly prohibits the possession of illegal drugs.
