We specialize in Reining Horses but cover all aspects of the equine industry. Our main location in King, North Carolina supports all of our training services. The partnership with Eddie Carter of East Bend helps further our breeding operation. The East Bend farm houses our broodmares, weanlings and yearlings until they’re brought to King for breaking and training. Our goal of maintaining two separate facilities is to create the most successful atmosphere possible for everyone. Kelly Sapp is the owner and trainer at San Up Farm with 20 + years of professional experience. He carries with him a long list of accomplishments in the equine industry including but not limited to the following:two-time Quarter Horse Congress Freestyle Reining Champion; High Point Reining in the Nation; Tradition Futurity Champion; Dixie Futurity and Derby Champion; as well as many Congress and AQHA World Show Top Tens. Kelly has also coached one APHA World Champion, two AQHA High Point Amateur Champions, numerous clients to Congress Top Tens, and many State Champions. Furthermore, he has been invited to put on training clinics around the country during his career.
Kelly is an approved NRHA judge and has been actively judging for the past 10 + years. He's judged some of the most prestigious shows in the world including the NRHA Futurity, NRHA Derby, NRHA European Derby, National Reining Breeders Classic and the Cowtown Classic!
