The Saint Benedict Festival is noon to 4 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Tickets are $50 each; the festival is 21-and-older, please. The monks of Mount Angel Abbey invite you to the 2016 Saint Benedict Festival.

Expect to eat well! A friendly cook-off among Bon Appétit chefs will feature cuisine inspired by Benedictine kitchens around the world, including India, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland and Japan. Savor local wines and pale ale brewed by the Abbey’s own Benedictine Brewery.
Enjoy lively lawn games with the monks, quirky behind-the-scenes monk-led Hilltop tours, and live music. Visit the Abbey Marketplace with monastery crafts, a silent auction featuring experiences and items offered by monks, and open houses in the library, guest house and museum. The day begins with noon prayer and ends with Vespers in the Abbey Church.
The $50 ticket price includes the bountiful catered picnic, beer, wine and all activities (adults only, please). Proceeds support the Abbey’s library, guesthouse and monastery.
