Twenty years ago, Robert took a path less traveled and developed a mountain vineyard in the rugged wine country that would become the up-and-coming Fairplay appellation.
Today, Robert forges E16 beyond Fairplay to secure select blocks of the most sought after vineyards in California with one purpose- illuminating terroir. Stylistically, we are looking for wines that exemplify the provenance of their individual regions with a production philosophy that relies on low input, Old World techniques across two brands- E16 and FIREFALL.
