Stiffys (BYOB) Bar hosts parties for big events such as New Years, St Patty's, Halloween, Birthdays, etc. ; and random weekday and weekend evenings. STIFFYS - Home to Kevin and Camille (Miller) Tollefson - Sioux Falls' most popular in-home bar since 1995.
History:
Stiffys in-home BYOB bar was constructed on 8 December, 1995, by Jay Mills, Terry Gavette, Sandi Jensen, Kevin Tollefson & Camille Miller, whom were all roommates at the residence. Stiffys continued to thrive with private parties until the summer of 1997 when, basically, everyone moved out, Kevin and Camille got married and then purchased the residence. At that time Stiffys (sort of) began to "fizzle out". In May of 2000, Kevin and Camille had their first child (Brooke Lynne) which seriously limited their ability to attend local establishments with friends. However, by reviving acquaintances with old friends, Stiffys began to thrive once again in the summer of 2000 and continues to entertain new and old friends alike to this day. Stiffys has distributed over 4000 "business" cards. Stiffys is located in the lower half of a 2066 sq ft split foyer home which sits on a one acre lot and has its own 24' diameter (fenced in) swimming pool and fire pit.
