In addition to TRAX service by the Blue and Red Lines, Millcreek is also the eastern terminus for the 3500 South MAX bus rapid transit line, with service to West Valley City and Magna. The station has a free Park and Ride lot with over 100 free parking spaces available. The station opened on 4 December 1999 as part of the first operating segment of the TRAX system and is operated by the Utah Transit Authority.
